A hurricane watch has been issued for areas from Grand Isle, LA to Biloxi, MS to Mobile, AL to Destin, FL to Panama City, FL to Mexico Beach, FL.   The NHC has Ida hitting at Gulf Shores, AL early in the day on Tuesday with winds of 85 mph and gusts to 100 mph.

jb..the gfs has been consistent with taking ida up through north central ga and then off the east coast.. do you think this will verify?
