I made an appearence on the news...live via Skype on my laptop....with Kevin a few minutes ago.
It has been a week since back surgery and I can get out of bed 3 times a day for about 5 minutes each time. It is a slow process to get back to normal. So there is plenty of time to lie back and follow the weather.
The brightest yet for the International Space Station with a magnitude of -3.9 as it passes over at 9:55 this evening. It will be visible for 6 minutes as it moves from the SW to the NE. Hopefully clouds from thunderstorms about 70 miles to the west will stay away.

Sorry I missed you on the news tonight! But you look like you're doing great for someone who just had back surgery a week ago. Remember to stick with doctor's orders and hope Mrs. JB is doing well also :)

Hey John,
Hope your back in the mend well. Wondering what type of surgery you had on your back? My wife has had four back surgeries, but hasn't done her any good, she has degenerative disc disease, and it's just getting worse. I follow you on Twitter, but it was going to take too long to ask this there, so I went this route.
I'm homebound as well, but mine is more permanent than yours,I do get out sometimes, just not far or for very long. Work at PNC downtown for 16 years before I had to resign due to health reasons, and now I do web designing on the side from home. One of the main sites I maintain locally is kosair.com, check it out if you're ever completely bored. LOL
Take care and hope to hear from you soon.
Cheers!
Darrell
