It looks like the second rain area this morning is going to stay north of Louisville. Downpours in Jackson county near Brownstown are heading to the ESE.
Look for some rain in Seymour, North Vernon, Austin, Madison and if it holds together...Carrollton & Vevay into Cincinnati.
There is still a chance for a shower as far south as the northern suburbs of Louisville.
We are into the second week of July and I did a quick check to see if there was still any snow in the mountains out west....1) Rocky Mt. Nat'l Park-Colorado 2) Teton NP, Wyoming 3) Glacier NP, Montana

From the NWS here in Louisville. . . 1936 record heat
8 July 1936 → Louisville reached 100 degrees every day from the 8th to the 15th for a total of eight days in a row, which is a record.

1936 eh? I wonder if they were talking about global warming and the green movement then when it was 100 for a week straight.
