We are in the slight risk for severe today. The SPC says that in the 30% area over PA & NY a few tornadoes are possible.
Widespread storms are moving ESE into western KY. The storms in central Indiana are new. If this activity holds together it will move through during the mid-day. It will take a while for the atmosphere to recover after this but additional storms should develop by late afternoon or early evening. Louisville native Brian Goode is on the air at weather.com in addition to his duties on TWC radio coverage around the country. Locally you can hear him on WQXE 98.3
Brian is a regular reader of this blog so we just wanted to let him know we are all watching. Looking good there and hoping to see him on with Stephanie in the morning or Alexandra in the evening sometime.

That's a mighty big shift in the 30% area from yesterday to this morning!
