The rain area is slowly getting closer. Look for showers to increase after 3:00. the severe risk is now 15% east of interstate 65. Yesterday I had mentioned that we needed several hours of sun to get severe weather and that is not happening.
Paducah has picked up over an inch of rain in the last 2 hours. Indianapolis over a half inch.
.
. It's sunny and in the mid 80s along the Gulf Coast. For those of you who have ever been to Destin....have you ever tried to walk down the beach on a sunny day without sunglasses? You can't do it. It's just too blinding with the white sand.
Oklahoma update....it's 94 degrees at Gage, OK. Yesterday at this time the temp was already up to 105.

The louisville nws hazardous weather outlook says we have another chance tommrow afternoon and again monday is this true. I do think we will see some good storms today with tropical rains and lightning due to the high dew points.
AJ....there is a chance but I think once that front drops through the highest chance will be west and south of here unless it builds back to the north.....JB

John, your post should of read: "look for showers to decrease after 3:00 pm" as that is exactly what is happening. Looks like no rain for Louisville today. Hard to believe after the wet June, but we could actually use some rain. It can dry out fast in the summer, even with the cooler temps as of late, and the last 2 weeks have become increasing dry locally.
