If we don't hit 90 tomorrow....and we probably won't unless there is a lot of sun....our next 90 degree weather may not be until after the 20th. The only shot next week would be Tuesday or Wednesday before the next surge of below normal temps moving in.
The highest temps I have seen so far this afternoon in the southern Plains include 111 at Gage, OK and 109 at Canadian and Childress, TX.
Here are some 7 day forecast graphics from some of our Raycom Media stations around the country so you can see some real summertime heat..... This is from WIS-TV in Columbia, SC. Their average high this time of year is 93.
This is from Lubbock in west Texas.
...and nothing cold about the KOLD 7 day forecast in Tucson, Arizona.

Hey JB, Do you consider tomorrow an "outbreak" type of situation?
