Tuesday early evening 5/6

Currentoutlookmain This week is Air Quality awareness week. For the pollution index....
0-50 GOOD
51-100 MODERATE
101-150 UNHEATHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS
151-200 UNHEALTHY

Even in the worst of summers, our worst air here in Louisville usually tops out under 150.
Atl The map shows the current air quality outlook. Yellow shows areas that are in the moderate air quality.

Metro Atlanta is under its first smog alert of the season with the index above 100. A code orange warning on Tuesday means the air is unhealthy for sensitive groups, including people with respiratory disease. People, including active adults and children, are advised to limit prolonged outdoor exertion. Most of Metro Atlanta's smog-forming pollution comes from vehicles.
