Monday mid-day 5/12
I was out and about this morning and saw numerous large tree limbs down from yesterday's wind. This photo was sent in from Valley Station. From what I saw this morning and looking at the number of power outages yesterday, the tree limbs down had to be in the hundreds if not thousands.
One good thing about a cool spring. The flowers are lasting longer than usual. This tulip is still blooming in my yard at home. I have never had tulips this late in the season.

It was almost like a tropical storm came through yesterday rain and wind and even on the radar it looked like a tropical storm. I remember some people wanting a cool spring because of the heat wave last year well were paying the price for a cooler spring without the heat. You need cool air in order to severe weather because the 2 air masses clash. Lets hope things start to warm up soon.
