Orlando Breaking news out of central Florida.....brush fires are burning out of control in several areas. At least 2 schools have been evacuated along with a number of residences in several communities.

The storm survey is complete for the Saturday Missouri tornado. It was the strongest twister in the U.S. so far this year......

            *** 13 FATAL, 200 INJ *** AT 559 PM...A TORNADO CROSSED
            THE MISSOURI OKLAHOMA BORDER JUST NORTH OF IRIS ROAD IN
            NEWTON COUNTY. THIS TORNADO TRACKED EAST SOUTHEAST
            CAUSING EXTENSIVE DAMAGE NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY
            43 AND IRIS ROAD WHERE IT WAS BRIEFLY RATED AT EF4 (170 mph)
            INTENSITY. THE TORNADO CONTINUED SOUTHEAST AS AN EF3...TO
            THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY 86 AND BB AT ITS MAXIMUM
            WIDTH OF 1 MILE...AND ON THROUGH THE COMMUNITIES OF
            FREDVILLE AS EF3...SOUTHERN GRANBY...AND NEWTONIA AS AN
            EF2. IT THEN EXITED NEWTON COUNTY.

Wow.. what a tornado. Thats so sad though to hear about the deaths. You have to think what kind of warning those people were given... but with a EF4 tornado, I suppose it really doesn't matter all that much. A storm that strong can whip out a city... and from the pictures that I've seen... that may be the case.
